Firmware | Gamesir T4 Pro Update

The fear of "bricking" the GameSir T4 Pro is largely a remnant of 2020-era firmware tools. The modern CP210x flasher is robust. By staying on factory firmware, you are potentially leaving performance on the table—higher latency, lower battery efficiency, and potential compatibility issues with future games.

In the world of multi-platform gaming controllers, the GameSir T4 Pro holds a unique spot. It’s the Swiss Army knife of gamepads—offering Hall Effect sensing joysticks (on newer revisions), programmable back buttons, RGB lighting, and compatibility across Nintendo Switch, PC (X-Input/Direct-Input), iOS, and Android. However, like any sophisticated piece of hardware running on proprietary software, its performance is entirely dependent on the firmware running inside it. Gamesir T4 Pro Update Firmware

Visit the official GameSir Discord channel. Their moderators often provide private beta firmware for stubborn controllers that retail tools can't see. Regarding the patch in the DeployWiz_SelectTS.vbs script, for MDT build 8443 you will have to add an extra line; in “Function ValidateTSList”, after the line that says “Dim oTS” add the following:

    Dim sCmd
    Dim oItem
    Set oShell = createObject(“Wscript.shell”)

The two lines at the bottom are as in MDT 2013 Update 2.

Kudos on this workaround goes to Ward Vissers in “MDT Build 8443 Automatically move computers to the right OU” (http://www.wardvissers.nl/2016/12/29/mdt-build-8443-automatically-move-computers-to-the-right-ou/).

Thanks a lot for your article!

Has anyone tried this same fix in MDT Build 8456? I’m working on updating my MDT to the latest install and I’m having issues getting the TS Selection to work like it did previously with this fix in place.
